ONE POT BLàCK PEPPER CHICKEN RECIPE








INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons. Sesame oil soup
  • 2 tablespoons. Onion soup, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
  • 1.5 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 c. red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons chicken broth or water
  • 1 p0und of chicken breast cut int0 1-inch cubes
  • 1 minced green pepper


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat the 0il in a nonstick skillet 0ver medium-high heat.
  2. Add the 0ni0n, ginger and garlic and sauté until g0lden.
  3. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce (optional), vinegar, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, cornstarch, and water. Mix well.
  4. Note: You can dissolve the cornstarch in the broth or in the water, then pour this mixture into the pan, but that's usually what I do not do.
  5. Add the chicken.
  6. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Discover and cook over medium-high heat to reduce the liquid a bit.
  8. Add green peppers and cook for about 2 minutes.
  9. Serve with rice and savor!
